The Domaine du Roncemay an 1800s manor only 1 h 15 from Paris offers rooms and suites of high standing with excellent cuisine. The hotel has two restaurants, a gourmet restaurant, which serves fine cuisine reflecting the seasons, and the Bistro du Golf restaurant for simpler meals of local dishes, to enjoy in between sporting activities.

The estate has an international 18-hole golf course, covering 85 hectares, a tennis court, an outdoor heated pool & solarium, a fitness room, and a traditional Moroccan Hammam where massages and beauty treatments can be booked.

Golf de Roncemay:

The Roncemay Golf Course is fairely long and is made of 2 parts, it  crosses a great forest, skirts 5 lakes and opens onto a vast plateau modeled and coloured like Scottish links courses. The First, eleven holes, cross a forest of hundred year old oak trees, hedges and silver birches. The Second, more rustic and consisting of seven holes over an uneven plateau, overhangs the Auxerre countryside.

This wonderful 18 hole course respects the lovely aspects of nature through which it winds. It is varied and demands all types of golf shots.  It is a selective golf course, but it can be played by any level of golfer, and putting on the subtly modeled greens is particularly challenging.
